-* Alvaro Ibáñez. Son according to the chronicles of John Estébanez, died before 1260, and his wife Dona Maria Saviors. In 1269 he was the commandant over Toledo. Don Fernán Alvarez de Toledo was inaugurated II Lord of Alba de Tormes and I Count of Alba de Tormes on the same day. II Duke of Alba de Tormes . Frederic Alvarez de Toledo and Enriquez de Quiñones (1460-1531), II Duke of Alba from 1488, was also Marquis of Coria, Count of Salvatierra and Piedrahita and Lord of Valdecorneja. III Duque de Alba de Tormes . Fernando Alvarez de Toledo and Pimentel, better known as the Grand Duke of Alba. Born in Piedrahita, Ávila province, on October 29, 1507. He was the son of Garcia Álvarez de Toledo and Beatriz Pimentel. Considered one of the best generals in the history of Spain and the XVI century. Winner of the German Protestant League Esmalcalda, Captain General of Italy, Governor of Milan, Viceroy of Naples, Governor of Flanders. Don Antonio Alvarez de Toledo y Beaumont, contrary to the provisions of their parents marriage was VI VI Count of Lerin and Constable of Navarre by inheritance from his maternal family. As Duke of Alba was a well-placed individual in the receiving court in 1599 by a newly crowned Philip the Golden Fleece, and appointed in 1622 by Philip IV Viceroy of Naples. It was a notable patron of writers such as Lope de Vega y Carpio or Felix of Wits, but heavy debts were accumulated. He died in 1639. Married to Dona Mencia de Mendoza, daughter of Don Iñigo López de Mendoza, V Duke of Infantry and a man very close to King-Emperor Felipe II.

VII Duke of Alba de Tormes. Antonio Alvarez de Toledo and Enriquez de Ribera. Constable of Navarre. Born in 1615.
